Roger Maxwell
Author of Kailen's War
A character-driven historical low fantasy of betrayal, faith, and a warrior's fight to reclaim his stolen life.
I grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains in California. A high school English assignment about a warrior fighting orcs sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling—decades later, that snippet became Kailen's War. As a volunteer mentor for Career Village, my writing advice has reached nearly 50,000 students.
